How was Geomoun born?

Since 2000, Geomoun has been supporting Timkatec, a children's home in Port-au-Prince that provides care, schooling and training for vulnerable children and youth. It all started in Haiti and Geomoun is now supporting other community development and child protection projects in other parts of the country, but also in Peru.

And because children's optimism is limitless, Geomoun has been developing educational activities aimed at giving children a voice since 2015, making them citizens of the world and fostering dialogue between cultures. The Le Son d'Enfants project allows children between the ages of 10 and 13 to produce radio programs on subjects that are close to their hearts. Belgian, Togolese, Beninese and Haitian children podcast their questions and research on the subjects studied, get to know each other and understand that the other side of the world can be both a source of difference and similarity.
