How is Geomoun financed?

Our NGO accreditation gives us access to public funding. Belgian Development Cooperation, for example, is financing a large part of our projects until the end of 2021. In exchange, it requires Geomoun to find 20% of the amount of the subsidy. This is called "co-financing".

In 2017, Belgian Cooperation granted Geomoun a grant of €429,005.87 for its activities in Haiti, Peru and Belgium. This means that Geomoun must finance 20% of this amount itself, i.e. 85,801.17 €. To achieve this, Geomoun responds to various calls for tenders from Wallonie Bruxelles International, the Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles, the Province of Walloon Brabant....

And to complete these various subsidies, Geomoun can also count on you and your loyal support. In 2017, your total donations and standing orders amounted to €63,612, which is a significant part of the co-financing of the Belgian Cooperation grant. We were able to use this concretely for the beneficiaries of our projects. Your donations are essential to Geomoun and we thank you for your continued support.
